Why this must be read:

Sirius and Remus give James a proper bachelor party send-off, and then a conversation with Lily leads to a redux. But what I like about this pair of stories is that it's not just body parts or even personalities colliding -- while the sex is hot, you can also see how stepping outside the usual boundaries raises questions for everyone about what they thought they knew about their partners, and about themselves.

"So you're second choice, then? I've settled for you?" Sirius's voice is mocking, edged with anger that doesn't quite make sense. "And that's all right with you? What the fuck is wrong with you, Remus?" Sirius throws up his hands. "What makes you think that's what you deserve?"
