Why this must be read: With The Private Room, I break all my rules for popslash. It's incest, ok, they're cousins but still ... It's told from an outside perspective (shudder) as if anyone could understand The Boys but The Boys, and a woman is in the middle. And yet ... everytime I find this story, I have to read it again and again. Not only can I picture this happening, I can see it, feel it, think of it as fact. It's one of those rare slices of life pieces you think of as fact simply because it makes so much sense.
TNL writes some of the most amazing fiction in a lot of fandoms but she hooked me early with boyband slash. I recommend a trip to The Private Room, then take a tour through the rest of her popslash nooks and crannies. You won't regret it. Enjoy.
