Rituale Romanum by Cee (G)
Fandom: SUPERNATURAL
Pairing: Gen
Author on LJ:
traveller
Author Website: memories
Why this must be read:
I am SO GLAD that I get to rec this universe to you all. We all remember back in season one when Dean and Sam passed themselves off as Men of the Cloth? And how that sparked off a thousand kinks we didn't know we had? Cee took this idea and ran with it. This is an AU, obviously, where Sam and Dean do their thing... but with a little more heavenly influence.
Cee just has this way of building universes and drowning you in them. It's a good thing, honest. :)
They were warriors for God, they were warriors for Dad: the earthly father and the heavenly one were at times difficult to separate. The Holy Orders would be the armor for their fight, he told them; with that power, that sanctity, they could not fail. They would aid the helpless, the innocent, not by shepherding them on a path of blind faith but by telling them the truth, by affirming the reality of what they had seen but not believed. They would relieve the afflicted with steel and fire and the Word.
They would find the demon that had taken Mary (Mother of God, blessed art thou among women), they would find every demon, for every demon is judged the same, and they would destroy every last one.
