Hi!
I’m Smilla and I’ll share with you my favourite fic for The Magnificent Seven fandom during March. My recs will be both gen and slash (the latter mostly Chirs/Vin). My love for the talented authors that have played and still play in this fandom knows no boundaries and I'm going to share it all with you!

Why this must be read: This is a very short piece, but very powerful. The story focuses mostly on Vin, and it has one of my favourite characterization; it also manages to draw a very poignant portrait of each one of the Seven.
And beware. It’ll break your heart. It did break mine.
She was just a plain brown dog though Josiah called her copper, Chris and Buck said she was sorrel, Nathan said rust, JD said cinnamon and Ezra, in his high falutin' way, said she was mahogany but we oughta call her Ginger. Shit, a dog like that needs a pretty name like Ginger like she needs another ear that flops down and covers her other eye. Skinny flea bag like that and they're all thinkin' up fancy breeds'a dogs tryin to figure out what she is. Half coyote, half badger looked like to me.
