Hi, I'm Helen or Stagie (of both LOL) and I'll be driving the Star Wars van this month :)
I'm mostly a TPM kinda person (yes, another one of those), but I do occasionally foray into Original Trilogy and the Expanded Universe. I have a specific OTP and very rarely deviate from it, but some times even I get tempted :)

I looked through the memories for TPM slash and saw that the first story recced way back then was Mrs. Hammil's "The Wheel If", so I decided to start with a story somewhat related to that.

Why this story must be read:
Cause it's hot. And so damn well written.

And have I mentioned hot? :) It's probably one of my most favourite AR stories, it has all the title says, plus romance and plot and likeable secondary characters (who go on to have horribly hot sex *g*). This series follows Episode 15 of the Wheel of If by Mrs Hamill, Wheel of If is as you might imagine "a what if" kinda universe, where poor Obi-Wan goes through numerous realities trying to find one that will ultimately be right for him. Susan Anthony builds the story after Ep 15 is done and goes on to create an amazing Alternate Reality where Obi-Wan moves on to the next Reality, but Qui-Gon stays behind and needs to find an Obi of his own :)
She spins a tale of love, action and most probably devotion, also a different Jedi Temple that most of us are used to (which is not a bad thing). Of course there are bad guys and some really interesting spins that never stop coming.

Continuation of Riding the Wheel of If: Episode Fifteen by Mrs Hamill in response to her hurled gauntlet of "Yah, poor pitiful Chancellor Jinn...he'll find his Obi, I'm sure of it. However, if any of you Wheelees can't stand it THAT much (and you know who you are), Write It! Go on, I dare ya! I'd like to see it as much as anybody, but can't take me hand off the wheel long enough to do it. Go for it, do, and I'll be on the sidelines cheering you on!"

Just wondering, do I need to read Episodes 1-15 in order to understand this?

Not really! All you need to need to know is that "Wheel of if" is kinda a collection of stories, each one different.

I recommend reading Episode 15 anyway and then Susan's stories, it gives you more details and of course A LOT OF SEX! :)
