Why this must be read: A post- Gift epic, J.K. practically channels the writers of the show in this trilogy. It's how Giles deals with Buffy's sacrifice to save Dawn and how he comes to the realization that he loves her, and not as a daughter. What's really amazing about this fic is that is was written before season six aired and it's stunning how close J.K. got to the actual events of that season.
An amazing read that deals with the aftermath of Buffy's death, where she was while she was gone, her resurrection and it's aftermath. Throw in Ethan Rayne and Wolfram and Hart and you have an epic to behold.
