The Things We Do For Love by Sage Harper (PG)
This is my final rec of the month; I do hope you've enjoyed the mix of stories I've given you this month.

Why this must be read:
Why would anyone break into Gibbs's home in the middle of the night? Why is Abby sleeping in Gibbs's spare room? Why is Ducky staying with Gibbs and cooking supper? The Things We Do For Love will answer all these questions and more.
It is romantic comedy at its best. It is a lovely balance of emotions, humour, romance, friendship, affection, love and togetherness. There are so many wonderful lines, some great characterisation, and two couples who are happily and clear in love. If you enjoy in character, non-slap-stick humour that's heavy with affection, this story is for you.
Whilst all the little things were wonderful, what Abby most appreciated was the atmosphere. Away from the formality and tensions of work they were all able to relax, the easy affection between the older men’s long friendship shining through, leaving Abby feeling cosseted by it too. By the time they retired for the night Abby was starting to see them more as favourite uncles than her superiors at work.
“Are you going to tell me a story?” Abby asked brightly, as Ducky tucked her in.
“I have lots of stories, my dear. Which one would you like?”
“Actually I’m not so much after a story as an answer. I mean OK Gibbs has his room obviously, then I’ve got the guest room, and now McGee’s on the couch. So where …oh”
