This is another vignette that breathes life into the Man from U.N.C.L.E.'s past. Nix creates a believable young Napoleon Solo with a rich mental life, and provides convincing motivations for the choices he made later in life. Like all of her stories, it's worth savouring more than once.

I really appreciate your post. I delayed volunteering to crack van this fandom because so many wonderful authors and stories have already been recc'd.

Now, of course, my only difficulty is keeping in mind I'm only allowed to recommend twelve stories I love. :-)
