Why this must be read: There's a fine line between true PWP and fics that bring the hot (or in this case, the dirtybadwronghot) while still exploring the characters and their relationships in a meaningful way.

I admit to a bias for this story because it was written for me, but without that, I'd still rec it for it's exploration of the triangle between the brothers Petrelli and Claire Bennet. The two biggest ships of the fandom are arguably Peter/Nathan and Peter/Claire and the combination of the two (again, in smoking hot prose) brings out interesting intersections of need, want and obsession.

“You fucked her.” It wasn’t a question.

Nathan had dragged Peter out into the hall, hopefully out of Claire’s earshot. The way Peter touched Claire, the way she responded, it set off alarm bells everywhere.

His brother met his gaze, jaw set defiantly. “She wanted it, Nathan. She wants to…she wants to belong.”

“Oh God.” Nathan didn’t even know what to say to that. The idea that fucking meant belonging in this approximation of their family was so painfully twisted. But at the same time, very true.
