Thirteen Ways of Looking at a Blackbird by talk_back (PG-13)
Fandom: HEROES
Pairing: Peter/Nathan (Warning: Incest)
Author on LJ:

Author Website
Why this must be read: The author bills this as a Peter/Nathan fic, but I really think it's more UST than an actual pairing. What makes it interesting is that (in my experience) most authors either go full-on into the incest or they skirt uneasily around it by either leaving the tension/desire unresolved or (worse) leaving the story itself rather messily unresolved, collapsing in their own uncomfortableness with the topic.
Here,
talk_back seems to find an actual resolution to Peter's longing for his brother; one that reads as a true epiphany and that gives an interesting and (to me) unique sense of closure, without ever really crossing the line. Given the delicate topic of incest, I find her vision of their relationship here to be refreshing, unusual and definitely worth checking out.
