"I'm not trying to make excuses. It's just... I don't..." I stumbled over the words, not exactly sure what I was trying to say. I tried again. "What good would it do to get pissed off now? It's over. We survived. I'd rather just leave it and move on."
He shook his head in disbelief. "You can just forgive them that easily?"
