Write to the Heart by Riley Cannon (PG-13)
So I sucked at OC reccs, but this month I have OZ and since I have no desire to be shanked (though I have no problems going into the supply closet with Keller) I swear I will be better.
Fandom: OZ
Pairing: Beecher/Keller
Author's Web Site: Riley's Cannon Fodder
Author on LJ:

Why this must be read: All right, prags, let's get some things straight. Oz is not happy land filled with fucking yellow brick roads and little girls who talk to god damn scare crows. Oz is about pain, love, redemption, and naked men. Mostly these stories hurt and if you're too much of a pussy to take it, that ain't my problem. This story is silly, but don't think they're all going to be like that. Think of this story as the last meal before the execution, the blow job before you get your neck snapped, the sweet kisses before your bones go crunchity crunch. Get in this last breath of sweet, silly air before its too late because these reccs certainly have nothing to do with lands over the rainbow and I ain't Glenda.

I look forward to the recs.

Nice work, Sweetpea. I see your game. Lull the new prags into the fandom by giving them a false sense of security. "God, we thought it was going to be really angsty and violent up in here, but it ain't so bad", they'll say and then *wham* - shanked and branded, parole denied - we'll have 'em for life.
