What Are You Doing New Year's Eve? by Druis (NC-17)

Why this must be read:
Because it's hot like burning. ::fans self:: Seriously, this is one of the hottest things I've read and the dialogue is great fun. A lovely lovely version of the characters. And honestly, considering what we've seen on the show, it seems rather plausible... (Oh, it's actually the sequel to the Jack/Ianto fic Blame it on the Mistletoe, which I also recommend.)
“So did you have a nice Christmas?” Ianto asked after a bit.
It was adorable how he always tucked a serviette into his collar, although Tosh had never seen so much as a drop of sauce fall onto it.
“It was lovely. Ate too much, drank too much, opened lots of gifts. The usual.” She scraped up the last of her pork. “It was nice to catch up with the family. Of course, I had to endure the usual ‘when are you going to settle down, Toshiko?” questions.”
“Those are inevitable, I suppose.”
“So how was yours? You have family in the area, don’t you?” She reached for an almond biscuit.
“Yes, but I wasn’t with them.” Ianto tossed his takeaway box into the bin. “I spent the day in bed with Jack.”
Tosh blinked at him, frozen in mid-bite.
“Two days, actually.”
Tosh blinked again.
Ianto looked at her with calm amusement and said, “Perhaps you should chew.”
She made her jaw start working again. “When…” she floundered, swallowed, and tried again. “I mean, what…”
“Christmas Eve. And for about forty-eight hours afterwards.” He paused. Do you honestly want to know the ‘what?’”
Tosh shook her head earnestly.
