Why this must be read:
This must be read for so many reasons. First, it's excellent. The writing is clear and concise and gorgeous. Second, it's excellent. The characterization of Bobby is spot on and it's a beautiful look at how he grows up during the films. Third, it's excellent. It captures a very rough moment in the life of one young man and shows how the life of another man has given him the strength he needs to move forward, despite the chaos and heartbreak that islife.
Finally, I admit it - this fic was written for me in a ficathon and it deserves all the love! ALL THE LOVE!
I'm not including an excerpt as this is not a terribly long fic, but it is very much worth the time to read it. Go. Read. Share the love.
