Why this must be read:
In the episode "Captain Jack Harkness" Jack and Toshiko are briefly trapped in the middle of WWII. Naturally, by the end of the episode they're returned to their own time.poisontaster uses this story to examine what might have happened if they hadn't. This story, I discovered after my first round of reccing TW for the comm and it was just pitch perfect so I kept it for the second time around. It's just one of those you can't miss stories.
