Communicate to the Masses by Hannahrorlove [G]
Well! This is my last House rec. Hope you've enjoyed my selection; if you have, you might want to check out my del.icio.us account for fic recommendations because by no means did I manage to cover all of my favorites on
crack_van. The House-fic recommendations are here. Specific pairings are listed on the side.
Fandom: HOUSE, M.D.
Pairing: House and Wilson friendship (gen)

Why this must be read:
I love this fic because it plays with something I imagine House and Wilson have gone over but will probably never be mentioned on the show: conflicting music taste. After all, who hasn't had this fight? Here, House and Wilson force each other to try out each other's music, and the resulting story is light, charming, and amusing.
It began, as most things do, with a drum solo. Ten minutes into the song, Wilson joined House on the newly constructed balcony. “What is this, and will it be over soon?”
“Iron Butterfly, and no.” The piece of architecture connecting their offices had been finished the previous day around two, and House couldn’t think of a better way to begin its life than with heavy metal.
“It’s been going on for ten minutes.”
“And there’s another seven to go.”
