Why this must be read:

... you need more than that? How about that the prose is so beautiful that I could seriously read her write forever? How aboutlimmenel's AMAZING ability to play with preconceptions of characters to break and shift any and all opinions held previously? This piece is just gorgeous and chilling and the last line will stick with you for a long time after you read.
Nathan was there until the very end of it, until the last possible minute. The others fled as soon as they realized what was going to happen, but Nathan stayed to watch Sylar and Peter fighting, watched just long enough to see the first hints of fire in their hands, Peter’s borrowed power and Sylar’s stolen.
Maybe that’s why he and Nathan haven’t had anything resembling a civil conversation since New York City was destroyed. Maybe that’s why Nathan can barely look at him anymore.
