Why this must be read: This story has three great relationships that all ring true; Connor meeting Methos, a pre-slash Duncan / Methos friendship and the clear demonstration of kinship between Duncan and Connor. Add in a Ramirez flashback and an interesting plot and you have a story worth reading


"Hey, Mister?"

"Yes?"

"May the Force be with you!"

"And also with you!" Methos replied with a grin, watching the two boys
vanish into another swarm of children. He stepped onto the escalator,
whistling the Imperial March. He would have to remember to be in the
States when the movies were re-released. His smile faded with the
sudden rush of Presence.

Methos stepped off the escalator, immediately weary. He scanned the
crowd, settling on a lone figure among the frightening pink of Barbie
Land. Sandy hair, blue eyes and a perceivable brood identified the
man instantly to Methos. He walked toward him slowly, hands turned
palm forward and his expression open and neutral. He left a few feet
between the two of them. He allowed a smile to surface, to remain in
his eyes as his lips turned into a mild scowl.

"Your cousin is going to be the death of me."

I had printed this story a couple of years ago. When I went to do the rec, I found that her web page no longer worked. Fortunately, I was able to find it on Seventh Dimension. However, it was the only story by her. I seem to recall that she had several Highlander stories. It's scary how many web sites are disappearing.

Thanks, I adopted the icon when Kathyh (http://kathyh.livejournal.com/) put it up for general adoption.

I am not sure that Dae had other stories, I thought I remembered others but I don't have printouts and they are not on Seventh Dimension so I'm probably wrong.
