Why this must be read: No! Wait! Come back! This pairing isn’t as freaky as you might think! I mean, Weatherby practically acts like he’s in love with James, anyway. And, even if it still seems too incestuous to you, well, maybe James was just projecting his feelings for Weatherby into the more socially acceptable person of Elizabeth. Or something. And, clearly, Weatherby can’t be entirely as asexual as fandom tends to portray him. I mean, Elizabeth had to come from somewhere, right? Besides, if nothing else, James *really* needs to get laid.

Er, where was I? Oh, right.

Set AU-post-CotBP, this fic has really stuck with me. It is one of those stories that I mistakenly skipped over the first time, but, after I finally did read it, I have revisited several times since. If Swannington really were going to happen, it would go something like this.

No, *thank you* for writing it! I honestly skipped over this fic the first time I saw it, because I thought this pairing should. not. work. I eventually went back to it and was so glad!
