Why this must be read: So much femmeslash is mournful. This story is anything but. There's a nice slow build and realization about what's going on and there's lots of good food (essential, in my opinion). The story is rich in details and full of little peeks at the characters' back stories. Abby and Kate are having fun together and Skripka brings us along for the ride.
Abby's house isn't what Kate expected.
