Everything in its Place by Giddy (R)

why this must be read: This is a wonderful story, full of warmth and humor, about the guys staying connected even though they are no longer a band. Giddy's dialogue is funny and all about love.
"Aaaw, it's just like old times," Chris said. He had taken the time to dress. Really dress. He was wearing jeans, a turtleneck, a sweatshirt, socks, sneakers--the whole deal. Armor, JC thought, and sighed. "How long have you all been here, thirty seconds? and we're already bickering. This is great, no, really, when are you leaving?"
"It's good to see you too," Joey said. "Get your ass over here."
Chris wasn't big on hugs, but he came down the stairs and let Joey wrap him up for a little while anyway, then slung an arm around Lance's shoulder and patted his back. Justin, he punched. "You gonna take your coat off, fucker?" he asked, and Justin relaxed all at once, smiling and loose and stripping off the coat and gear.
"I didn't want to overstay my welcome," he said, and Chris punched him again.
"You were never welcome," he said. "But now that you're here, I guess you can hang around awhile. C'mon. I'll make coffee."
