Why this must be read:

I'm a sucker for those telepathy fics whereby the characters are actually in each other's heads. This is one of those. A lot of people talk about the close relationship between Chris and Vin and how there appears to be an awful lot of silent talking. This sets up the premise that a link exists, and what happens when someone else joins that link. This is a story I shared and managed to convert someone to the fandom, so I'll see if I can lure some more unsuspecting victims :)

That is an interesting story. Good choice - very provocative. I don't know quite how I feel about it - left some stuff hanging, but the concept was well executed. She did a great job with the characterizations.

There's a few more in the series on the site, although this was the one that caught me. As you say, it's provocative, in that it made me take the idea and play with it in my head, those type of fics stick around :)

Yay! I'm so glad you rec'ced this - I read it ages ago and neglected to bookmark it.

I'm a sucker for this kinda thing too - taking a canon truth [in this case Chris and Vin's ability to carry on full conversations with few or no words] and drawing it out into a plausible, though slewed situation makes me cackle with glee.
