Why this must be read:

I actually have another fic on my list for this month, where Teyla is pregnant. Teyla pregnancy!fics are for some reason *awesome*. Because Teyla may be the kick-ass warrior chick we all know and lust after, but in the Pegasus Galaxy family and babies would be hugely important as well, and Teyla would approach that challenge as gracefully as she does any other. (And apparently the key word this month is going to be "balance"). The author nails Teyla's voice (we all know who's really in charge, I think), the team's honest, caring worry for her, *and* manages to bring the cute. Squishy, cuddly, pregancy!fic warmth! Without the gross aftertaste. No, trust me.

"My position on John's team is not compromised, I hope?" asked Teyla.

"As long as you have regular medical exams, and Carson or Dr. Biro approve, I don't see why it would be," said Elizabeth. "We'll revisit the issue when you get too big to move properly."

Teyla groaned. "I am not looking forward to that," she said.
