Hi, I'm zillah and I'll be driving the van for House this month! I've been reading off and on in this fandom for almost two years, but it's only recently that I've declared my undying love for it as anything but a side fandom. These days I search for House/Chase fic that I haven't read and read House/Wilson to slake my thirst. *g* However, I've got a handful of recs that are pretty varied, including this first one.

Why this must be read:

There's not a lot of fic that features a strong Foreman point of view and this one does that. It shows how Foreman sees Chase both at this particular moment (a party in Cuddy's backyard that they are forced to attend) and in general. Foreman's view of the world in general feels very detached in this fic and only the sex seems to penetrate that detachment. He's more than aware then and his detachment in the first part of the fic turns to a wonderfully hot sex scene where Foreman is determined to make Chase feel everything that Foreman himself only recently became aware of.
