Four Corners of the Moon by Robin Serrano (NC-17)

Hi, I'm ZorroRojo and I'll be driving the Mag7 van this month. You'll mostly see Chris/Vin slash or Chris or Vin centered gen. Mag7 has many different AU's and I have a few recs in those but I plan to have at least half of my recs in the original Old West setting. That said, my first rec is an AU fusion featuring a Chris/Vin pairing with all seven being part of the story. I tend to rec long, well plotted stories where all seven men play a role.

Mag7 can be difficult to rec in because the largest archive does not allow linking to their adult stories. You must submit an age statement and wait for someone to send you the supersekrit link to the fic. Which really limits the adult stories I can rec since I don't think it's fair to make people jump through hoops to read my recs. I think there's enough everywhere else for a month's worth of recs.

Fandom: Magnificent Seven (Firefly AU)
Pairing: Chris Larabee/Vin Tanner - however all seven are integral to the story.
Author on LJ:[livejournal.com profile] robin_serrano but she's mostly posting at JournalFen these days.
Author's Website: On Slashcity and her author page at M7Slash.com

Why this must be read: This story is not a crossover -- just wanted to get that out of the way. It's an AU that slots the Mag7 guys neatly into a Firefly type future - and it fits seamlessly with the characters and their original old west setting. The writing is solid and the characters are in character, the plot is meaty and gripping, the story long and well thought out and the sex is hot. What more can you ask for?

OHHH - I love this universe as well - loved Firefly and loved the way she set mag 7 in that universe. Excellent choice!

And I'm very pleased to meet you, ZorroRojo - I love your stories as well! Looking very much forward to seeing your other recs as well!

I read this a while back. Cool, maybe there's been an update by now. I remember how much I loved this. Hell, I think I even downloaded the series.
