Ever so often, one finds an author who can really tell a story. Those stories might not be the most angsty or most heart-wrenching things ever written, but they're beautiful nonetheless.
Kim K is one of those authors. She truly knows how to weave and spin a tale. The imagery is so amazing, one gets sucked in immediately.
In this casefic, Kim writes several great OCs, filling them with personality, as well as fleshing out and keeping in character Mulder and Scully. The bad guy is suitably frightening and the whole thing plays out like a good MOTW episode.
