Why this fic must be read: This is a little gem of a story – fresh, fun, sexy, and clever. Both Ace and Rose are very well written, and it’s not just my bias of wanting to see Ace paired up with every girl ever, because they really fit, here, and make a wonderful team. There’s some very funny lines, a lovely light feel to the proceedings, the girls wrong-footing the Doctor, and a terribly sweet and hopeful ending that avoids being at all sappy.
