Why this must be read:
For the Weir/Dex 'shippers, pretty much the major appeal of the pairing is how they have absolutely nothing in common. We figure that all that confusion and friction has to make for incredibly hot sex. Eventually. Danvers nails the culture clash in this fic, as Ronon studies all the Earthlings. Especially Elizabeth. Who just might be studying him back. Not that Ronon will get her to admit it. Or maybe he will.
Eventually. Includes spot-on observations of all the Lanteans, and more than a little longing.
He watches Sheppard's approach to women a lot. He can't help but think that Sheppard's approach to women is to act like one. To lounge, loose-limbed and boneless, making eyes and having a mouth that pouts. If Sheppard had all the female parts Ronon likes, Ronon would probably take a shot at him.
Not that any of the pouting or lounging seems to work, because Sheppard spends a lot of time on the shooting range, hitting perfect targets. From his own experience, Ronon knows how much a lack of sex improves your aim.
