Why this must be read: In the strange parallel universe of fanfiction, sex is almost always perfect. Everyone's gorgeous, massively endowed and awesome in bed, nobody ever fumbles in a bad way or breaks wind at exactly the wrong moment, and everyone can deep-throat. That's not a bad thing, because we're all here for escapism and hot porn, but sometimes you just want a touch of angsty reality. This fic deals with a scenario of mismatched sexual preferences. The unwilling partner plays along, and as a result both partners are left with more than bruises. It's an uncomfortable read, but the characterization is lovely and rings true throughout.

The link to her old homepage in the story above is down, but if you run it through the Wayback Machine, you come up with this (http://web.archive.org/web/20030409093313/http://dmzfic.b0x.com/sw.html), which shares a bunch of stories in common with her current page. So, I would guess that they're one and the same.

There's a Domenika Marzione in the Atlantis fandom; she's also active in comics fandom and says she got her start in Homicide: Life on the Street fic. Nothing about SW on her website; her e-mail is dmzfic@gmail.com. Her LJ is [livejournal.com profile] miss_porcupine. May be someone else ... but it's not like Domenika Marzione is a common name, y'know?

Uhm, it's me. I pulled my SW stories from my site and thought I had from M_A -- neither the email nor the website are valid anymore, plus I'm not overly fond of my SW work. But it's still amazingly flattering to see that other people think otherwise.
