Why this vid kicks ass: So, here we are at the start of week three of this rec set, and it's time for a change of pace. Today, we head off to the wilds of YouTube, where you will find a most wonderous songvid -- The Bayeux Tapestry. I admit, when I first heard of this -- a tapestry as a songvid?! -- I was dubious; you would think I would have learned by now never to underestimate the ingenuity of fans. Because this? Is brilliant. The animation is clever, the soundtrack is perfect, the added text clears up any confusion if you're not quite as up on your history as you'd like. I think my favourite part is Halley's commet... no, the vomiting seaman... NO, the BLUE HORSES amidst the raging BATTLE for England! What a brilliant idea, brilliantly executed. *shoos you off to YouTube*

Still one of the best reasons for the internet to exist...

That is one of the best I've ever enjoyed.
