Why this *must* be read: Again, this is very short (not that I'm doing it on purpose but in the fandom there are some ficlets that are outstanding). I can't beging to tell you how I felt after reading this. Maybe like I had been punched in the guts, hard? "S'en mordre les doigts" is a French expression that means that you regret something - too late. This is exactly what Doughtie experiences here. Poor Thomas!
