Why this must be read: I'm one of the co-authors, but there aren't many Hercules crossovers to choose from, so here goes: Buffy, Xander, Giles and Willow are accidentally sent through a dimensional doorway to a strange new world, where they run into Hercules and Iolaus. Together, they uncover Ethan Rayne's terrible plot against this world. Jason, Autolycus, Xena and Gabrielle are also major characters.

I realize it's awkward to post a rec for one's own stuff, but this story had to be recced. It's a classic, and one of the best crossovers I've ever read, in any fandom.

the saddest thing is that now my friend yael and i are discussing buffy/xena pairings, mostly femslash (cause, come on). we've decided that willow/xena is definitely cool, and then i came up with faith/calisto that's just really sexy. ummm. yeah, ignore me. off to read.

Oh, yay! This has to be one of my favorite crossover stories of any genre or show, and I've only even seen a handful of episodes of Hercules. marycrawford is right. It has to be recced. I even suggested it to _green_ when she was looking for crossovers for Buffy this month. Excellent.

No problem. I'm a crossover whore and this is one of my clear favorites. (And thank you! Um, I just changed a bunch of my icons around, so I'm not exactly sure which one you're talking about, but this is my old default, and it was made by spiffarific after a long and windy not making any sense kind of conversation. If that wasn't it, if you tell me what it was, I could tell you who made it if you want. *g*)

It was the "And the blame was placed on the dwarf" one. I don't need a copy or anything, it just made me want to watch the LotR documentaries again. :)

Ah. Hee! I love those. chicken_icons made bunches of them. (Yeah, mostly I realize that, but whenever someone compliments me on an icon I didn't make, I'm uber-paranoid about letting them know who did. It's a thing. *shrugs*)
