Why this must be read:
Stuck in that shack by the sea, too injured to move much, Jin and Mugen start having sex and Fuu, still recovering from the traumatic events of the last arc of the series, catches them. Jealous, she leaves and the boys leave with her, splitting up at the crossroads in the last scene of the series.
Two months later, the trio bumps into each other again.
Sometimes you want angst, sometimes you want humor, and sometimes you just want a straightforward first-time story. Distance gives you two first-times for the price of one, and each one is sweet (albeit slightly twisted, because this is SC) in its own way. A lovely, satisfying story.
