Why this vid kicks ass:
"You stopped and you smiled at me, asked if I cared to dance; I fell into your open arms and I didn't stand a chance..."
This is the only Persuaders vid I know of that's currently available. How lucky we are that it's such a fun, joyous romp, set to a song reminiscent of the one that accompanies the drag race in the pilot episode. I should warn you that unless you're an anime fan, a lot of the cuts in this may seem too fast. I still have trouble with it and I've watched it, oh, forty times? The temptation to try and cram in as many slashy moments as possible is understandable (there are just so many.) But this vid is more than Inappropriate Fondling's Greatest Hits: it also shows each character through the other's eyes – amused, exasperated Danny following around suave Brett, and then Brett, bemused and unable to resist intrusive, sparkling-eyed Danny. Oh, boys. Oh, vid. Oh, Dusty Springfield. I need to go draw hearts on things now.
