Dakin/Irwin at its finest, and such a shame it never really happened. Banter and snogging and Dakin lying to his parents about where he spent the night; and quite possibly it's all just a dream. The title's a little ridiculous, but the fic is fantastic. Just trust me on this one.


"Do you slobber on Fiona like that? Doesn't she mind?" Irwin took a few steps backwards away from the bookcase and Dakin followed.

"No way, mate, that was you."

"Was not. I'm older, I know better."

"I've had more -- I know better -- ha! Watch out for your table."

"Oh, no no no no, not here..."

"Done it before? Uncomfortable?"

"Not nearly as sexy as you would think."

"Yeah? How come?"

"Dated a... lord, a gourmand once; he had a collection of pots and pans strung up on the wall..."

"No!"

"Somehow, I ended up in the sink."

I just wanted to thank you for all the lovely recs. I hadn't bothered getting into fanfics and didn't even know where to look, but this made it easy and fun to do so. I've loved the movie since I saw it (still haven't found the play) and getting into the fandom aspect of it just makes it better. Thanks!!
