As always, the best way to keep your fandoms up and running on crack_van is sign up to make recs and encourage your friends to do the same!

Not sure if I should put this question here or in the sign-up thread, but OOC: I see that folks who've signed up for anime so far are mentioning specific series. Any ground rules on whether that's the preferred way to go, or if a more generic "anything anime" month would be ok if the reccer preferred?

Impacts my thought-process on volunteering...

In most cases I would expect reccers to focus on a single fandom during their month of recs, but there won't be a requirement that they do so. Hope that helps!

How are you guys planning on handling Anime overview(s)? Or Literary/Book overview(s)? I'm not really up on fandom in either, but I've a pretty good canon background in both so I'd be happy to write some overviews if others can tackle the recs.

We like for our overviews to include fandom resources so generally the first reccer in a given fandom will provide the overview as well. If there are fandoms you're especially interested in working on, you could certainly offer to partner with someone who has signed up to do the recs? Just check our main page side bar to see which fandoms already have overviews done.
