Amand-r wrote this story as a cap to the first Highlander Christmas fic fest,

hlh_shortcuts. It's a redeeming suggestion, an offer of myrrh and balm. It's an end and a beginning, and the best thing I've seen to emerge from the stinking wreckage of the film. Read it and feel a little better.
