Hello! My name is kirsteena, and I'm driving the Van for Life on Mars this month. I've been reading Life on Mars fic for a little over a year, and will read pretty much anything, with a preference for het and gen, as well as loving stories dealing with the minor characters, but hope to have something for everyone.

Why this must be read:

dakfinv is known in the fandom for writing long, plotty fics, but this short, angsty one-shot is incredibly moving. Using Sam's mother as the main character, it draws you through key points in Sam's life, and deals with the somewhat controversial final episode brilliantly.
