Why this must be read:

Wordwitch once referred to this series as 'Doing Sandburg'. I prefer to call it 'Jim and Blair get a clue and get married.' There is a supporting cast of thousands of many minor canon and original characters, whose viewpoints add to the fun, and a touch of shamanistic magic to boot. And, yes, the reader is never left in any doubt that Naomi and Blair live an alternative life style, and that sometimes it wasn't all auras and yoga.

This is unashamedly romantic, but with enough wryness and humour to be entertaining and not sickly.
