The Jedi Temple has a role in this delicious story, making it socially redeeming as History Studies even as the pigeonhole 'PWP' doesn't quite hold it, due to its thorough exploration of the characters involved. The story spans about twenty-one years, good; it shows Qui-Gon's Mastership style, good; it gives Obi-Wan's and Anakin's quarters a little history of their own, better; and last of all, it has a bathtub built for two, best. This fic was inspired by a manip wrought by bodeewan, whose Star Wars input graces the fandom with humor and romance. As for the author of this fic, she engages in a mind-blowing RPG here with aplomb that paints the walls with fun. The premise of "Blowing Bubbles" is that it has been a nasty mission, a dirty mission, and all Obi-Wan wants to do is decompress in said bathtub. It happens, eventually.
