Why this must be read:
This is one of those fics that once you start reading it, it's almost impossible to stop until the end. Even if you're have to stay up to three o'clock in the morning, you cannot stop reading.
A Sports Night AU set in a mystical, unnamed land in a time long in the past, Daniel el-Rydal buys slave Casey Mackall and finds his life and destiny irrevocably changed forever.
It's not an easy story to read with it's someitmes graphic depiction of slavery, rape and bondage. But at the centre of it all is a love story that will have you going 'aw' to the very last page. All the familiar Sports night characters turn up in one way or another, and the final confrontation between good and evil picks up on the themes of the final series.
Oh, and did I mention that there's plenty of hot sex between two gorgeous guys?
