Why this must be read: Our first glimpse of Sharon (Boomer) and Helo in the mini-series had them already working together as Raptor pilot and ECO. This fic gives Boomer a backstory as a young pilot (barrell rolls in a Raptor, yay!), then moves on to Helo meeting the other Sharon (Athena) and shows the evolution of his feelings. It's gorgeous and doesn't ignore some of the problems inherent to these two as a couple.
