Why this story must be read:

The most basic thing you need to know about this story is that Anakin and Obi-Wan are separated since Obi-Wan's encounter with Grievous, which in this AU has been five years ago. We don't know the outcome of the Jedi/Kaleesh duel, but in a certain secret spot on the Skywalker estate, Anakin keeps memorabilia of his time as a Jedi. Sad echoes of a happier Anakin resonate in an Anakin who, in gallantry or foolhardiness, soldiers on in a life filled with Padmé and the twins but not with Obi-Wan. It doesn't seem enough for him, somehow. This author writes Temple fluff equally as well as angst, and has provided two Sarah McLachlan songs as a poignant backdrop to reading this story.
