Because it has an eyecatching 'having a vision from the Force' effect. It has lyrics matched to emotions. It has The Duel of the Heroes. It has Anakin's abs. For a story like Revenge of the Sith, with its Faustian overtones, Disney's Ariel the Mermaid is an apt heroine to compare with Lucas' Anakin the Fallen, because they both pay for their very understandable ambitions with what is dear to them and don't like the premium. But they pay it anyway, and that's the story. So sad, so true.
