Why this must be read: Take a post season six Buffy and a post season three Wesley, have them meet unexpectedly and the result you get is a ton of angst. Both characters are hurting and go off to find some peace, to try and work out their issues. They run into each other, much drinking and talking ensues. And in the end they make a pledge to each other to go back to their homes and try to work things out. It is a bit dark, so please read the warnings, but if you do decide to read you won't be disappointed.
