Why this must be read: I can't properly begin any rec list in TPM fandom without mentioning this story. It remains one of my favorites of all time, and sums up everything I love best about the Qui/Obi relationship. Extremely short and sweet, it's one I pull out whenever I'm feeling low, because it never fails to make me smile. Torch has such a beautiful way with words, and this story is no exception.
