Why this must be read:

Emphasis should be on fics that you feel are especially outstanding and accessible examples of your fandom, e.g. it plays on a repeated theme in the show, it's a fandom or a personal favourite, it was a controversial fic, it's good smut. Whatever.

Warnings are not required beyond what the author has posted on their own stories.

Doing some quick maths on those above me it looks as though my turn could be coming up towards the end of the year, so I just wanted to mention that I'm involved in running the popslash secret santa and will thus be unavailable to rec in November, December or January. Put me down for 2005. :)
