Eurymedon's Chariot by ingrid_m (not rated, but call it PG)
Hello, all! *waves* I'm
sabaceanbabe and I'm your driver for the month of June.
Fandom: BATTLESTAR GALACTICA 2003
Pairing: none (features Gaeta, Helo, and Dee)
Length: about 2,500 words
Author on LJ:
ingrid_m
Author website: none listed
Why this must be read:
Set just post "Collaborators" in s3, this glimpse into what Felix Gaeta went through upon his return to the Galactica is at turns poignant, hope-filled, and occasionally humorous. Gaeta's and Dee's characterizations are spot-on, but I would expect no less from Ingrid, and she has a real understanding of Helo, too. It's not difficult to see and hear the scenes play out as you read, which is always a joy when you find that in a fic.
Bastards wrecked my station he thinks, accepting a bent clipboard someone hands him and blindly signs off on a schedule. He'd once warned Adama that letting Galactica jump into a planet's atmosphere -- gods above -- was a lousy idea, but the Old Man probably took that as inspiration for his insanity.
Eurymedon's Chariot
Enjoy! :)
