Why this vid kicks ass:

I guess I need to come clean. I am not a shipper and I don't watch many shippy vids. This may be the best Scully POV vid I have ever seen. Just as with the best fan fiction, the best vids can open up something for the viewer, show them something new, and allow them to see the show from another fan's POV. When I watched this, I could see the special quality of the Mulder/Scully relationship, through the stunning montage of Scully's experiences, in a way that had been closed off to me before. To me, there is nothing conventionally romantic about their story, and yet the Romance comes through here too, in a vivid and emotionally powerful way. There is no better show than The X-Files for beautiful imagery and Astarte has chosen well. Go and watch and fall in love.

Oh my yes, I think I could have written your entry. It's the most gorgeous video I've ever seen, set to an even more gorgeous song. If I could marry Astarte, I would, and force her to make a vids on a 24-hour basis.
