Shades of Green by imadra_blue (PG)
Fandom: STAR WARS
Pairing: none (Obi-Wan Kenobi genfic)
Length: 2,547 words

Why this must be read:
We've seen plenty of evidence about Anakin's envy of his Master, both in canon and in fiction about the characters. But it's been a rare (if not entirely elusive) thing to see Obi-Wan's envy of Anakin in turn. This story by an always competent author in the Star Wars fandom explores the concept of Obi-Wan's feelings of marginalization in relation to both his own Master and then his apprentice. Gorgeously written, honest, and perfectly in character.
